2005 couldn't get a better start, musically that is, than with Greenhouze's debut album.
This is a perfect Hard Rock album, a soft and very well written one, maybe even the best I heard in a very long time.
These Norwegian's has really surprised me, I knew they could write good songs, I praised their song ("Train Song") on the "Rock Ballads vol.5 that MTM released back in autumn last year, but that they could write such good album, I didn't expect.

All the songs are good, and I really mean all, Solli's soft and very emotional voice penetrate every single room on your brain, and I think it's impossible for a fan of Hard Rock/AOR not to like this guy.
Solli together with Lars Levin is the founders of the band, which emerged in 2001, in the end of 2002 this album was finish, they signed with MTM and now it's finally released. And it's possible one of the best Hard Rock/AOR album of the year.

The starter, "The Point", is a wonderful starter, you'll hear the waves wash up on the beach, and Solli comes in and sings some wonderful words, that couldn't sound better, already here you'll get a clue what the whole album is about. Softer, a little slower but yet beautiful AOR songs, with great vocals, wonderful guitars and lyrics that can blow you away.

But the best is yet to come. The following song "Waterline" that's a little faster song, Lars is riffing supreme and Solli sings with is magic voice "Down by the waterline", brilliant.
"Here in the Air" is the third song and it's maybe the fastest on this album, some Lars-riffing and maybe the fastest singing from Solli, and believe me, it sounds as good as when he sings slow and emotional.

"Remember" follows; this is a slow ballad, good song. But it's not standing a chance against what's coming, "Train Song", this brilliant tune might be the best Hard Rock / AOR song I ever heard.
The chorus is to damn good that you can't keep your mouth shut, you just have to sing-a-long with it, a fu***** masterpiece, you MUST hear this song. (I have added a 30 sec clip; check it out for your one own sake).
After this "Brainwash" there aren't anything that can make you feel better, even if songs like "Rain" and "Everything" is good, but after "Rain Song", you're so away that you can't get a grip of anything.

I can't do much else in this review, except recommend you to buy one of the best releases in many years, maybe also one of the best AOR albums ever, IMO.
I know for sure that this will be one of my favourites to "Album on the Year, 2005", I just know it.

Check Out: "Train Song", you'll be a new human after!
