Eulogy Recordings was kind enough to send me this pre-release, "The King Is Dead" will be on stores next October (25th to be precise), and to every Hardcore fan I really recommend you to pick up this CD the minute it comes out, this album proves that hardcore music can be done the right way, The record is fucking amazing, in the hardcore kind of technique of course. Now let's take a closer look shall we?

"The King Is Dead" is really impressive; this release takes you to the roots of Hardcore indeed, if you are willing to hear crushing riffs, outstanding drumming, shrieked vocals, and if you miss those aggressive musical structures from the older Hardcore bands, you'll love this CD. Every song manages to create that old feeling, that destructive and rebel emotion; songs wrapped in catchy guitar riffs like "The King Is Dead" or "Coward" will surely make you destroy everything that's lying around.

You may be thinking "an album can't be that good man come on" well you are kind of right, the lyrics are mostly about inner struggles and society, so the band failed in lyrical originality, and the artwork is somehow cheesy, so yes "pobody's nerfect", but hell the music makes the album worthy. And let's be honest, most people just grab a CD, read the lyrics once and that's about it, so the lyrical content is not that important in some cases, "The King Is Dead" is all about the Old School Hardcore music and the intensity of the execution.

I tell you once again, if you love Hardcore you'll find in "The King Is Dead" a masterpiece, you'll play it very often and you'll assemble a tiny altar around it, so to all those "Hatebreed", "Madball" or "Bury Your Dead" fanatics?October 25th is near, so start saving some money.
