Who here actually knows this band? I'm sure not many, and that's exactly what I'll try to change this time, as this Russian Proggy band is one of the best "deeply-underground" acts I've come across lately.

I'll keep things straight, Extrovert plays Progressive Metal in the vein of Dream Theater only adding a lot of melodious passages in the songs, not to mention that the lyrics are all in Russian, so it's quite interesting to hear the vocalist singing things that few of us will actually understand. This things aside, the band is very talented in terms of musicianship and songwriting skills; the band members know how to play marvelously their instruments (specially the guitarist) and generally speaking the whole album is very entertaining and it features some "Wows" along the tracks.

All in all, this is a good band with an unoriginal approach (only in terms of similarities); the worthwhile factor comes in the rarity of this album, it would be one thing to the same American bands over and over again, but to hear a Russian -More Melodious- Dream Theater is a whole different situation don't you think?

This album achieves the general goal of every record, which is to make the listener stay to the very end. So, the next time you want to hear a very rare band with good music and you happen to be a Progressive Metal fanatic, don't hesitate to search this band as it will totally fulfill your expectatives.
