Tucker is a little French band without any real pretentions. The only thing that they want to do is to play their Hard Rock on the stage and when I listen to their last Mini CD "Blacktown" I really believe that it should be really cool to see this band live. Don't expect anything new with this release but be sure that the guys of Tucker know how to play great Hard!

The six tracks of this EP are all really cool especially if you like Hard Rock a la AC/DC or Guns N Roses (with Appetite For Destruction). It's catchy as hell, full of rhythm and really it's obvious that those songs are perfect for the live performances. Of course it's not new, I didn't find anything really special and surprising in this release but be sure of one thing, it's perfectly done and in the end all the ones who like Hard Rock should enjoy the music of Tucker. It's classic as hell right but it works!

"Blacktown" is really well recorded, and do you know why? The answer is simple, this is one more time the amazing Fred Rochette who recorded the album (note this tips from me, if you're in France and want to record your album, contact him, he is one of the best producer really!). I didn't find anything wrong on this EP except that it's not really new and that it's something for real old school Hard Rock nostalgic but at least, if you like this kind of music, you'll not be disappointed.

With "Blacktown", Tucker has released a nice little album of Hard Rock. This band is good, their musicians are great and really they know what the word "rock" means. If you're looking something to listen to during your summer trips with your motorbike, "Blacktown" was made for you.
