Classic but modern Thrash could be a good way to describe the first album of the Italians of Death Mechanism. Without being new or original, their music inspired by German Thrash Metal is not really surprising but not out-dated too. "Human Error - Global Terror" will not be a revolution but if you like violent and aggressive Thrash a la Kreator, I think that this release will be for you!

The best way to describe the music of Death Mechanism is probably to talk about Kreator and all the others German Thrash bands. Don't except any killer melodies a la Metallica here, this is just a matter of violence, so even if the guitars soli sound a bit like the tortured and "messy" soli of Slayer, the riffs are a lot more direct and not so complex. Really, "Human Error - Global Terror" is a pure album of European Thrash, violent and fast as hell with good melodies but nothing too melodic and catchy in the end. "Human Error - Global Terror" is not a perfect album, the songs are a bit messy sometime and I didn't find any real hit in the release but this is solid and if you like to listen to dark Thrash Metal I think that you'll like the release which is already promising for the future of the band.

The musicians are good even if I don't really like the voice of Pozza which is too "Black" for me. On the other hand his guitars soli are really impressive (really he is a killer) and the blasts of the drums are hypnotic. Even if the sound is good everything here is a bit messy and sometime you'll not know where you are in reason of the numerous breaks and different changes of rhythm. Death Mechanism Thrash Metal is really complex and its violence and fast speed doesn't help a lot the listeners. You'll have to like really fast and violent Thrash to enjoy this release which is not so easy of access and maybe a bit repetitive in the end.

"Human Error - Global Terror" is not a perfect release but it's a good honest album of European Thrash Metal. Maybe that some good catchy melodies are missing but on the other hand I just think that Death Mechanism just wanted to play fast and aggressive Thrash a la Kreator and they've managed to do it. We're in front o f nothing revolutionary here but if you like fast Thrash, "Human Error - Global Terror" is recommended, this is not the best release in the category but this is solid at least.
