Some albums are really funny. You just have to have a look at the cover of "Dream, Tiresias!" to understand that it's Indus which probably comes from Germany. New album of a band which started its career in 1994, this release will have to be checked by the people who like Industrial music and cold atmospheres. "Dream, Tiresias!" is not especially violent and is more a matter of ambiances than anything else but people who like the Dark Electro/ Industrial German scene should like it anyway.

"Dream, Tiresias!" is not really comparable to KMFDM or Minsitry for example. The influences here directly come from Dark Wave and Gothic music and the release is cold and even a bit "sad" on side. The electronic sounds give a good ambiance actually and the original voice of Peter Spilles reinforces the frozen atmosphere of the music. Of course we have good melodies, good tunes but this is not violent and catchy like with Ministry for example. This pure Electronic / Industrial music is probably popular in Germany and I'm quite sure that a part of the Gothic aficionados love it a lot like some metalheads who use to listen to Indus but I miss some guitars riffs and some real Metal influences. This is probably just a matter of taste, I cannot simply recommend this album to basic metalheads but with a bit of honesty I'm sure that the songs are cool, the melodies are catchy at least.

Remember that you won't find any metal instruments here. "Dream, Tiresias!" is only composed of electronic sounds, this is dark at least but this is Electro at first and if you cannot stand keyboards just go away. Though here at least this is perfectly played and the tortured (not so beautiful actually) voice of Peter Spilles is cool and gives a really disturbing side to the music. I'm not enough into this kind of music but if I try to be objective I would say that the new Project Pitchfork is a good release in the genre and will probably touch some people.

Have a look at this release if you're curious. People who like Electro will find something for them here, the other ones won't probably find anything in the album but who know maybe that some of you will have a revelation. I cannot rate this album and just wanted to give my feeling here but I'm quite sure that the fans of the genre will like it a lot because after all it wasn't terrible for me to listen to it so it's probably a good sign!
