Sweden's number one Heavy/Power Metal band today is, without doubts, Umeå's Nocturnal Rites, and last year they released their sixth full-length since the debut in 1995. And this year they're celebrating their tenth anniversary since the same debut. And by doing that they wanted to give their loyal fans a chance to get their hands on their debut once again, since it has been hard to find lately.
And just as a extra gift they didn't just re-mastered their debut, they also re-mastered their second album plus that they recorded 2 new acoustic versions and added 2 demos.
And all of this they put together onto one double disc album that's going to be available for the price of one, it's that just too nice of them?

So, basically, what you'll get is Nocturnal Rites debut album, "In a Time of Blood And Fire" fully re-mastered, a Demo of one of the songs plus two new acoustic versions of two songs from that album on Cd1.
On Cd2, you'll get Nocturnal's second album "Tales of Mystery And Imagination" and a demo version of one of the songs. And as a little bonus, you'll get an 11 minutes long, totally crazy video clip.

I've been a fan of Nocturnal Rites for some years now, I heard all their album before, so I wasn't expecting more than to get some new versions and demos. But when I putted the first disc into my player and the music started, I realized how much better this sounds compare to the originals. So right there I understood how great this was, this is brilliant, since I always had troubles to get into these two albums, much because the poor sound.

But it's not only the quality that's good, you'll also get two new acoustic versions of the songs "In a Time of Blood And Fire" & "Winds of Death", with today's line-up.
And also one demo version from each album, from "In a Time?" it's the song "Lay of Ennui" and from "Tales?" it's "Living for Today".
And last we should not forget the crazy video clip, that I can't describe in words, it's just great and it will give you a clue about how wicked these guys really are.

I don't think it's much more to say except that if you're into Nocturnal Rites, and as me, always thought that their first releases could have a bit better sound, then I strongly recommend you to buy this album. Here you'll get them both in perfect quality, and you'll see, these two albums are much better than they sounded on the originals.

Check Out: Except both the albums, the two new versions, they are great, and the video, it's just hilarious.
