Personal text: Born a loyal Heavy Metal lover, I critically analyze and dissect any type of metal that comes my way. Regardless of my personal likes, I'm strongly opposed to the newer generation of "scene" and "(random name CORE)" bands that have popped up, but have brought nothing to the table.

I appreciate the roots of where Heavy Metal started, and have a deep adoration for all that embodies the heart of the Doom/Sludge part of the genre. Metal has its roots buried deep within the heart of The Blues, and many of my favorite groups are those who can shred a guitar solo the same as the Blues legends, as well as few personal favorites such as Hendrix, Iommi, J.D. Cronise, Kyle Shutt, Rhoads, Hennrikson, Martin Henriksson, and Mikael Akerfeldt.

I am a blogger about dozens of topics, but most of all I enjoy writing about Metal.

-but with a genre with as much depth and impact as ours, who could blame me?
