Any chance of revealing your RYM username? Just discovered Maths through your profile here, this is one amazing piece of screamo. Way better than the new Circle Takes The Square teaser, for example. Too short, though.

I keep hearing about them on Profound Lore and never quite got what genre they were. First I heard old-school death and then black metal. Now you've said post-death I'll certainly be checking them out

(I decided on putting 150 albums on my list in order of preference, obviously very ambigious towards the end, but not sure if I can be bothered to update it on MS.)

Well I put a top 25 (well top 25 bands/27 albums) on my profile, though I'm not too happy with it. A lot of stuff I really liked a while ago but left for new things probably hasn't appeared on there (Like UNIKO for example). It's not in any kind of order really. I don't know how to quantify stuff from such different genres o.0

So... Just as I'm writing this I'm finishing Evanescence's latest. As you say: Pretty not bad.

I still preffer their debut though. They get some extra points for re-inventing themselves.

Yeah I'll always have a soft spot for their debut. The recent one managed quite well not to suck or sound like horribly cheesy or anything. Just a good solid alternative metal record.
