For those not familiar with my Thrash List, I know it can be a bit overwhelming, but calm down, breath, and let me give you few tips on how to browse this thing properly. First, it is important that you understand that it is ordered by years of release. Knowing that, if you're an old school thrash fan, you might not like albums past the year 1995 which is currently marked by Meshuggah's album ''Destroy Erase Improve''. Though if you do like modern thrash, you may proceed past this point. Just take my list like if it was a big encyclopedia of nice thrash releases. Hope you enjoy it and don't be shy to let me know if you do or don't.

Well I guess 'pure unadultered NWOBHM' is where Thrash finds a major influence. Satan's debut always struck me as particularly 'Thrashy', more-so than Iron Maiden or Angel Witch.
While I wouldn't say Court In The Act is Thrash, I would definitely say it's got some of that proto-thrash riffage going on.
Oh well I don't think there is actual Thrash metal before 82' frankly...
I would even say 1983. Venom and Discharge weren't actually totally thrash either.
You're right on that, though I put them in the list because they got some good Thrash tunes on them but also because its kind of the transition albums that kind of started Thrash.
Then I am of course taking the year studio full-lengths were released as the starting point and not when demos were released. If I were to do that then I would state 1982.

Oh, you are welcome . I thing they are not that savage as I prefer thrash to be, but very creative, especially riffing. Lyrics are also amazing, unfortunately for many in czech.
