I also thought Alcest was somewhat a dissapointment. Les Discrets did a great job on the other hand, and I think they surpassed their debut album 
I still have to check out Dodecahedron |

Yeah, Dodecahedron is a pretty crazy album. I might actually like it more then Les voyages de l'âme, I just need to give it a few more listens. |

Yeah, I heard tid bits of it when it was first released, but didn't get around listening to the whole thing until a couple of days ago, it's pretty sweet. |

| How do you feel about that Arcana album? I was excited to see it drop, but compared to the new Dead Can Dance it was kinda disappointing and average. (DCD is definetely album of the year material, so check it out if you haven't.) |

Hmm, it's been a few months since I heard Arcana's new album, and I thought it was real good, got to go and give it another listen. As far as DCD goes, I had no IDEA they just released a new album, I have to go and check that out as well. Thanks for the heads up |

Listened to the album all week when it was first released, then I stopped listening to it because I figured it was going to be a bore after a while. I went back to it just recently, and......it rules, lol. But with the the last four months rolling in, and a ton of highly anticipating albums coming out, it's gonna be real hard for the list to look the way it is now, even with Clockwork Angels staying in the top 20. |

How was the new Bison album?
It didn't necessarily impress me right off the bat, but the album is a grower. It's sludgie, and raw, but it's not something I would listen to everyday. All that being said, it ended up being a pretty solid album. |

Gorefilia and Vanitas are the ones I forgot, but some of the BDM albums just didn't cut it with me this year. |

Both of those are really good releases but HC are deathgrind and AN is black/grind, neither are BDM or Slam...:P |
