Touring? that's different and is been done by many deactivated bands to keep their fans intact or whatever.
If a band tours they exist and are active, simple as that. Recording albums has nothing to do with being active or not. |

Apparently when your currently active band is traveling across a country to perform live to hundreds or thousands of people, but you haven't written any new material, your band is still inactive.
