Thanks man. Yeah, I had Songs of Darkness, Words of Light at #1 the whole time, but decided that Turn Loose The Swans is pretty much the ultimate MDB album. But to be honest, I think they're about equal in quality. Same goes for #3-#5. As you can see I've rated those all a 9.5, so the difference for me it's pretty small between those albums. However, this top 5 are definitely the 5 best albums from MDB and that will never change, because seeing as their last 3 full-length albums don't even come close to the top 5, I don't have any hope they'll ever produce another masterpiece like those 5 albums. I hope I'm wrong though.

I think the last time I came here you had SoD,WoL in 1st place. I definitely agree with the top 4, but I couldn't choose which is the best one as they're all great. You also picked the best songs from the albums too.

Thanks! And you're right, I switched them, although I think they're both about equal in quality. I'd guess your #5 would be Like Gods of the Sun? I recently added my favourite songs and ratings, because I felt the list was boring, haha.

Thanks man! And well, Songs of Darkness, Words of Light and Turn Loose The Swans are pretty much equal for me and I actually had SoD, WoL at #1 before I decided to put TLtS at #1 after all. I understand why people think 34.788%... Complete is their worst, although it at least something different and I definitely enjoy most of the tracks. For Lies I Sire is basically Like Gods of the Sun, but way worse in every aspect, and I don't even like all the songs (for example, A Chapter in Loathing, which is a total rip-off of The Blood, The Wine, The Roses). I know they're not the exact same style, but I feel those two are still pretty similar nonetheless.

I should update the ratings here, because I don't entirely agree with them anymore. But that's hard because I rarely listen to My Dying Bride lately, so I just left it as it is. Might update it soon though, but the order of the albums probably won't change so it's not a big deal. I Always try to be a little careful with very high ratings but that's hard in case of a band like MDB because most of their albums are awesome.

I agree with most, but actually I would switch places The Dreadful Hours and Turn Loose The Swans myself. A cruel taste of winter is my absolute favorite MDB song. And I would put A Line Of Deathless Kings higher, below Like Gods Of The Sun I think, it's a great album.
