I never heard of this band before. I just checked it; yes, I agree with you: this band has some beautiful album covers! Except for the debut's cover, that one's not great.  |

In my opinion... get rid of: The Black Halo, The Gallery, Follow The Reaper. And replace Eternity with A Natural Disaster (I don't like the album, but I love its cover), and Time I with Portal of I (Ne Obliviscaris), which is heavily superior to Time I.
As for suggestions:
- Insomnium - In The Halls Of Awaiting
- Novembers Doom - The Pale Haunt Departure (one of my all-time favourite covers for sure)
- Swallow The Sun - The Morning Never Came
- Wintersun - Wintersun (always reminded me a bit of Emperor's debut, but less great)
Other than that, nice list. Well, and The Pale Haunt Departure is an absolute must for this list. |

I don't like The Gallery all that much, so it's just personal preference I guess. Now that you put in The Pale Haunt Departure (and the others of course), you'll get my +1.

I didn't like Saturnus' cover, and I don't think that that Star One's cover is great enough (it looks weird imo). And I'm trying to decide which Ayreon cover is better: The Human Equation or Universal Migrator Pt. 1. |

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't think the first one is great enough to be in this list. As for the Candlemass one, I don't know... But I think that Ancient Dreams is a lot more beautiful than Nightfall. |
