This is an interesting list but if you like Dio, it's because of his unique voice which was at its best on Lock up the Wolves. The album was a departure from what he had previously done with an all-new band which made it a bit difficult to get into at the time. It just happened to be a bad time for metal. I suspect that if you gave it another listen, you might want to rank it higher. I would definitely rank it above Master of the Moon, which is an album I like quite a bit.

Have you tried Dio's pre-Elf stuff? Ronnie Dio & The Prophets, mainly.

I did listen to a few songs, but "An angel is missing" is the only one I remember. As far as I know, they didn't release any LPs or anything that could have been introduced in this list.

There was an album (Dio At Domino's, 1963), but I don't think you can get it anymore. I've got a compilation from Amazon, though. Probably only released because of the Dio name.
Edit: I found the album on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRopiBc2qXg.

Seems most songs from that era can be found on YouTube, though.
