Albums That Change My Soul

The order chosen was not one of favoritism or competition between bands & genres. Instead i put it in chronologic publication order. It's quite dificult to think which album is better than the other cause there are so many different ways to express ourselfs in music that I must say: sometimes the songs i love the most...cant listem in specific states of mind.
The albums i chose were important in some part of my live. Some of them i don't listen for a lot of years, others i dont quite remember them. But i remenber what i felt at the time.

1. Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin II
2. Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath
3. Deep Purple - In Rock
4. Black Sabbath - Paranoid
5. Black Sabbath - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath

The Painters Of Metal

Album art is a crucial element to what makes a great album become monumental to the music fan. It gives us a vision and a feeling through visual sensations that are linked in the mind to the sounds that embody those ideas. A great album is intertwined into those concrete images and the two aspects make them whole. The following is a list of albums by some of the most influential, well known illustrators in the Arts Community. These artists are key figures in relation to how famous their art has become either by the success of the bands they worked for or the popularity of their own work.

1. Electric Wizard - Electric Wizard
2. Darkthrone - F.O.A.D.
3. Cradle Of Filth - Midian
4. Converge - Jane Doe
5. Blind Guardian - Nightfall In Middle-Earth

Epic Album Closers

Some albums are really good. Many of these are good all the way around. And, in many cases, there is a single song that stands out, sometimes it's the last song on the album. This is a list of those songs.

For a more in depth look at this, I've codified each into a given category:
Type 1 - 'The long song at the end.' Often the title track. These have a tendency to be most well written and dynamic pieces on the album.

1. !T.O.O.H.! - Order And Punishment (Řád A Trest)
2. Abigail Williams - Becoming
3. Agalloch - The Mantle
4. Amon Amarth - Versus The World
5. Anekdoten - Vemod

"The Greatest Vocalists In Rock/Metal Music"

This is a list with some of the greatest voices in the history of rock/metal music (in alphabetical order - by singer).

The criteria by which the following singers were selected are:

1. My Dying Bride - Turn Loose The Swans
2. Primordial - To The Nameless Dead
3. Watchtower - Control And Resistance
4. Alice Cooper - Billion Dollar Babies
5. Evanescence - Fallen

A concise list of my metalhead man-crushes (now featuring ladies.)

While there is little introduction required for some of these bands and their front(wo)men, there are no words that can accurately describe such jaw-dropping talent anyhow. The albums and youtube links listed are meant to display the full capacity of vocalists' talents, not the bands' most quality or popular tracks - click the links below and behold the prowess.

1. Abstrakt Algebra - Abstrakt Algebra
2. Adagio - Underworld
3. Akercocke - Words That Go Unspoken, Deeds That Go Undone
4. Amorphis - Silent Waters
