10 years 20 decade lists 749 bands 973 albums Output: 200 top albums from 2010-2019 FAQ How are the points calculated? Simple math. Ranked top lists: 1st place = 150 pts. 2nd place = 149 pts. ... 100th place = 51 pts. ... 150th place = 1 pt. Alphabetically sorted lists: Each place = 100 pts. Why just a Top 200? Because 200 list entries are more than enough. Is it by pure coincidence that the first four positions are occupied by bands with the initial letter "E"? Yes. Will your list be updated on a regular basis? No. Why is my favorite power metal abum not featured? I don't know. You Know It's Technically 2011-2020, Right? To explain the title, there is no year 0, regardless of what Ghost may tell you. Thus, the first decade was years 1-10, instead of 0-9. So then it would be 11-20, and so on. But I know that would imply that Paranoid is a 60s album, which we cannot have.
So now that all the cool kids are doing it, here is my top 100 albums of the "decade", most of it might be a bit too mainsteam, most of it you'll find on others' lists, and so on. Restricted to one album per artist/band (including collabs), ordered alphabetically.

Best Of 2010-2020 By Mz The best of 2010-2019. At the end it tuned out to be less diverse than what I thought it would be in terms of musical genres, with mostly black and death metal record filling the spots.
Recommendations more than welcomed.

2015, Now With A Chicken Shawarma! I haven't listened to a lot of new music this year, but here are some of the highpoints for me. This year, my selections will be posted in no particular order aside from "The Best" and "The Rest". By "The Rest", I'm certainly not insinuating that these selections are bad- in fact, they are very good albums, in my opinion! I have decided not to include awful albums on this list. This list won't be as exhaustive as previous lists I've made. I'm very open for recommendations, so please send me some if you see anything that might appeal to me!

2015 Rituals As anyone who knows me well enough by now should know, I'm a sucker for drone, ambient, and psychedelic music, and anything and everything in between. I've come to really enjoy and appreciate that hypnotizing, trance inducing stuff that is all about plunging the listener deep into a semiconscious state of awareness through repetition, minimalist composition, and/or formless atmospheres that explore the very nature of music itself. This list is basically for me to keep track of such albums released this year, and to potentially turn you onto some of them as well. Includes a few nonmetal albums. And not entirely limited to drone/ambient and psychedelia either, as I sometimes find awesome, trance-inducing albums outside of these genres as well. Albums in order by release date. Suggestions welcomed and appreciated.

I'm looking for all genres without exceptions, with currently little preferencies for Progressive, Death and Black metal! Listenning to every albums 2 or 3 times at less before including it in my list. I specify my favourite songs in order of preferency  ❤ = Amazing song!

Dark, Harrowing, And Ravaging Albums To Ruin Your Day These obviously won't ruin your day. Chances are if you are into these styles you'll love this selection. No stylistic borders, but I'm limiting myself to one album per band. These aren't necessarily my favorite albums by these bands, but they are the one's I think fit the best.
10ish years later, I find a lot of my descriptions on these really mediocre. Don't judge my shitty writing.
