Warman's lists
Top 20 albums of 2000 Certainly a good year. Northern Europe really killed it this time. The top 5 is without a doubt some of the best albums of all time.

Top 20 albums of 2002 A good year, no more, no less. Although the top 10 is pretty awesome and Norther's debut album will always be a favourite of mine.

Albums That Made Me What I Am This is not a list over my favourite albums, although some of them on the list of course are. These are albums that formed me, had a huge impact on me and defined my musical taste. Without some of these releases I probably wouldn't even be the person that I am today.

Top 20 albums of 2014 Great year, especially when it comes to melodic stuff. So glad that At the Gates and Empyrium delivered something solid. Even happier that Vanhelga really has become a "Lifelover 2", only darker. Although I am dissapointed that Deathstars didn't release a #1 album.

My Maiden hangover - songs I'd gladely see Iron Maiden skip during their live shows What's a Maiden hangover? You know a regular hangover, right? It's really bad, your head hurts and you feel ill. You know you still love beer, but you don't want it for a while. That's how I've felt about some Iron Maiden songs for a couple of years now. I've seen Maiden six times since 2005, and that's not even during the same tours. Still I feel like they play the same couple of songs over and over again. I can understand why, being a huge band with some monumental metal classics. But a little variety, please! I went to a show last night and thought during it "it's enough now". One of the best things about seeing the same bands over and over again, is to witness them play different songs. One that I haven't already experienced live. But this never happens with Maiden, we get like 1-2 songs they haven't played in a while. And its not just witnessing the same songs over and over again, it's the fucking same coreography during them too!

Top 20 albums of 2006 A good year, I could make a great and lengthy list of songs just based on these albums. The top 5 is especially awesome, the first two I could probably put on my top 10 album list of all time.

Top 20 albums of 2007 A really good year, just look at the top 3! Three of the world's greatest black metal albums ever! And the six albums thereafter? Magic. All I can say is that this list was a pain to order, because there's so much great albums which deserves to be higher up.

Top 20 Albums Of 2021 The top four albums: absolutely stunning. However, looking back at 2021 and the albums I've voted for, there was a lot of stuff which made me say: "what the hell is that?"
A forgetable year? Could be. Surprise of the year? Either a japanese speed metal band that I have never heard of, An Autumn for Crippled Children releasing an album sounding like their glory days or the fact that Korpiklaani made it into the list.

Top 20 Albums Of 2020 Very hard to sort this one. A different year with albums from all sorts of genres. Not the best year but also far from the worst. Mörk Gryning was the pleasant surprise of the year with their best album since "Tusen år har gått..."
Turmion Kätilöt released the catchiest song of all time, "Revi Minut Auki".
