I listened to Lamb of god - Resolution earlier this year. Wow!! Blew my sox off. If you miss the older sweeter Iron Saviour albums like Battering Ram, try Paragon - Force of Destruction. Awesome crunchy old school power metal sound with a teaspoonful of thrash for flavour.
Aeternum - Moongod is really good. Melodeath doom at its best. Killing Joke - MMXII will be making it onto my top metal albums 20 of 2012 list. Kiss - Monster satisfied my Hard Rock munchies. Also, As I Lay Dying seem to have tweeked their sound a wee bit. Awakened is My 3rd fav album of theirs. (Nothing can beat Shadows are Security - 2005 in my ears.)
Then, my sox also flew off while listening to Six Feet Under - Undead. Their album adds fresh twists and technicality to really good groove death metal. Man, now I miss other top class bands like Torture Killer, Debauchery.
