Paul Dedrick Gray (born April 8, 1972), also known by his number #2, is an American musician known as the bassist of Slipknot and is the only band member who was not born in Des Moines, Iowa.
Paul was found dead in his Urbandale hotel room (the TownePlace Suites, 8800 Northpark Drive) at 10:50 a.m. by a hotel worker. His body was discovered on May 24 2010. it is unclear as of his exact time of death as of yet. Preliminary reports say his death was attributed to a possible suicide.
