The sons of the land of the 1000 lakes are finally returning to the U.S. this fall as direct support with none other than Type O Negative for the first time in almost 5 years! This trek will find them hitting all major cities from the East Coast to the Mid West; no word on whether the band would be doing any West Coast shows at this point. In related news, the band will release their new album Far From The Sun domestically on September 7th.

Pasi leaves Amorphis

Singer Pasi Koskinen decided to leave the band after 9 long years. Pasis last apperance will be at Kontu Rock 21.8.2004. All touring plans will go ahead as scheduled and rumours of a replacement already exists. We are waiting for a statement from Pasi in the near future.

US tour with Type O Negative

AMORPHIS are scheduled to support TYPE O NEGATIVE on a U.S. tour beginning in early October. Confirmed dates so far include the following:
