Evile - Guitarist Fractures Jaw, Band Leaves Satyricon Tour

Ol Drake, lead guitarist of UK thrashers Evile fractured his jaw last night (Wednesday November 19) after the band's show in Rotterdam, Netherlands supporting Satyricon.
Evile frontman Matt Drake comments: "Ol collapsed last night and fractured his jaw and split his chin on the ground. Luckily his beard absorbed some of the blow. He's been in hospital and had X-rays and been stitched up, but he's unable to play - he can't really move - he's a mess. Ol doesn't drink, it seems to be some medical problem that's being investigated. They did an ECG and we're awaiting results. Unfortunately we're having to pull out of the tour to get home to the UK where Ol can recuperate and have some follow-up tests.
We apologise to all our fans and to anyone planning to see us at the shows. As you can imagine we're devastated we can't play, but Ol's health comes first and that's currently our priority. We will update our fans through the MySpace with news when we're back home. We won't be on any of the Satyricon tour from today."

Evile - To Re-Issue Debut Album
According to a posting on Evile's website, October 13th will see the release of "Enter the Grave" the Redux edition. Included will be bonus tracks only previously available on the Japanese release, a bonus DVD (including 2+ Hours of footage of making the album, rehearsing the album and behind the scenes tour footage), an "Enter The Grave" woven patch and an Evile guitar pick (3 alternate designs).

Evile - To Support Satyricon On European Tour
Evile have officially been confirmed as a support act to Satyricon on their upcoming European Tour. The tour spreads widely throughout Europe including the UK, The Netherlands, France, Germany, Belgium, Chile, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, Czech Republic and Poland=;
Check the list of dates on the Evile 'Gigs' section to see if there'll be a show near you, and please note Evile will be the openers for the night, and will therefore play EARLY so get there in good time if you want to see them!

"August 27th sees the long-awaited release of "Enter The Grave" from upcoming Yorkshire thrashers Evile. To mark the release of their debut the band are giving away an exclusive red 7 inch with all pre-orders from the Earache webstore, along with a free Evile poster. Click here to see a picture of the red 7 inch vinyl. The vinyl is Limited Edition, with only 1,000 copies available and features two unreleased demo tracks entitled 'Darkness Shall Bring Death' and 'Sacrificial'. The 7 inch will also be available with 'Enter The Grave' from selected independent retailers. To see a list of these stores, click here.

The tracks 'Enter the Grave', 'Schizophrenia' and 'Armoured Assault' are taken from the blistering Earache Records release "Enter The Grave" produced by Legendary Producer Flemming Rasmussen, which will be available on August 27th in UK/Europe and September 25th in the USA.
No instrument samples were used in the making of "Enter the Grave"- all parts were recorded acoustically, live in the studio.

Evile - Recording Debut Album
Fast-rising young UK Thrashers Evile have announced that their forthcoming debut album, entitled "Enter The Grave", is to be recorded in May 2007 at Sweet Silence Studios in Copenhagen, Denmark with legendary producer Flemming Rasmussen (Metallica, Morbid Angel, Artillery).
The album is scheduled to be released Worldwide in September 2007 via Earache Records.

Earache Records is happy to announce the signing of fast-rising young UK thrashers Evile, fresh from their triumphant performance at last weekend's Damnation Festival, where they slayed the crowd on the Jagermeister stage, as openers for The Haunted, Skindred & Biomechanical.
Evile formed 2 years ago in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, UK by brothers Matt Drake (vocals/guitar) and Ol Drake (lead guitar), along with Ben Carter (drums) and Mike Alexander (bass) and have since rapidly picked up a rabid following, eager to enjoy a night of heads-down, no-nonsense Thrash.
Though unsigned, Evile were hand-picked to play 2 prestigious UK festivals in the summer of 2006 - Bloodstock Open Air and most recently, Damnation Festival - both to great acclaim from fans. Now the band will spend the rest of the year gigging far and wide, and expect to record and release their debut album on Earache early in 2007.
