Japanese post-rock masters Mono will enter the studio to record their new full-length release this July with Steve Albini (Zao, KEN Mode) helming the production. The band plans for a January release, with a first single due out in September. Additionally, Mono confirmed a string of dates for the 'Blue Blood Moon European Tour', scheduled for this coming fall. A Storm Of Light and Jo Quail will join them as support on the road.

Joining Devin Townsend Project drummer Ryan Van Poederooyen and guitarist Brian "Beav" Waddell are bassist Byron Stroud (ex-Strapping Young Lad, ex-Fear Factory), second guitarist Jed Simon (ex-Strapping Young Lad, Scar The Martyr) and vocalist Jon Howard (Threat Signal).
