After a countdown, today Testament finally reveal the cover art of their new album, The Brotherhood Of The Snake. Testament - Releasing New Album In October

Testament have already set and announced the release date of their new album. The Brotherbood Of The Snake, as the album will be called, drops four years after Dark Roots Of Earth, this October 28th! The album will be mixed by Andy Sneap and will be the band's first with ex-Death bassist Steve DiGiorgio since 1999's The Gathering. You can start anticipating it.

Slayer - To Tour With Testament And Carcass

In support of Repentless, the band's 12th studio album and its career-highest chart debut, Slayer will launch 2016 by pillaging and marauding its way across North America, headlining some two-dozen dates over a five-week period. With special guests Testament and Carcass on all dates, this tour of metal heavyweights starts on February 19th in Chicago and wraps up in Las Vegas on March 26th.

Cannibal Corpse - Announce Latin American Tour With Testament

Death metal veterans Cannibal Corpse are very pleased to confirm that the band will be touring Latin America in November and December with Californian thrash legends Testament. The tour begins on November 17th in Porto Alegre, Brazil, and concludes on December 2nd in Guadalajara, Mexico. The complete list of tour dates is available down under.

Testament - Announce Tour With Exodus

As they prepare a new record, Testament just announced the Dark Roots of Thrash II tour which is happening in April and will include select Testament and Exodus festival performances too. Testament - Former Bassist Launches New Band

Former Testament bassist Greg Christian has joined forces with Kinnefret guitarist Artak Ozan in a new band called Trinity Fallen. According to Christian, the two musicians are currently "looking for a real singer - someone with range, dynamics, and the beat, someone with vocal skills comparable to my bass skills or Artak's guitar skills - that can sing clean and sing aggression, but actually sing it, like a Cowboys From Hell / Vulgar Display Of Power-era Phil Anselmo, but with their own style."

Testament - In The Studio

Thrashers Testament are back in the studio! The follow-up to Dark Roots Of Earth released back in 2012 is finally shaping up. Vocalist Chuck Billy and guitarist Eric Peterson are demoing new material and have shared the first photos from the process. The new album will feature bassist Steve DiGiorgio, who returned to the band after the departure of Greg Christian. Their next record is expected to be released this year.

Testament - Fans Can Own Shares Of 'Native Blood' Song

After Queensrÿche offered investors a chance to buy a stake in the band, thrashers Testament are now following suit. The band is giving fans a chance to own shares of their song "Native Blood" (from 2012's album Dark Roots Of Earth). For the first time in history, Testament is allowing you to own what no fan has owned before.

Testament - Apologize For Incident At Indonesian Festival

Legendary thrashers Testament have received a lot of backlash after their headlining performance at Kukar Rockin' Fest 2014 in Tenggarong, Indonesia on March 9th. There was an incident involving Testament and the Indonesian band Power Metal, who performed before them. According to a report, Testament's stage crew pulled the plug on Power Metal's cables from their amps during their third song. Chuck Billy appeared on stage and the Indonesian band stepped down. The crowd was upset and sat down during Testament's performance that ended up being cut short. They left the stage and Power Metal later returned to perform. Testament have now released a statement about this justifying the situation with miscommunication and urgency to catch a flight, apologizing to the fans.

Newsted - Confirm Soundwave Sideshows With Testament

As you might remember, Newsted was recently booted from Australia's Soundwave Sidewaves with Megadeth. Soundwave says it was at Megadeth's request but Dave Mustaine and their tour manager say that didn't happen. Regardless, Newsted will still perform at the Sidewaves but with Testament instead. So, you're going to kick me out, I'll still go to Australia with Testament. Take that!

Testament - Bassist Splits With Band, Replacement Announced

Testament announced on their official website and Facebook page that Greg Christian, the band's original and longtime bassist, has departed after a nearly-nine-year second term with them. The band's statement fortunately indicates that the split is mutual, and also saves us all the anticipation of waiting for the replacement. None other than Steve DiGiorgio has stepped in to fill Christian's shoes.
