Philadelphia-based sci-fi thrashers Vektor have revealed the title of their upcoming new album, along with dates for their first ever European tour. Officially titled Terminal Redux, the brand new album was recorded and produced by the band at their home studio and at Panther Pro Audio in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and was re-amped and mixed by Byron Filson at Villain Studios in Arizona. The album is due to be released in early 2016 on Earache Records.

It seems like Vektor frontman David Disanto was reportedly arrested for throwing a beer on a Christian protester in Memphis at the Scion Rock Fest 2013. US thrashers Vektor have posted on their Facebook page the following update about taking a break from live shows to relocate and work on new material: "You may already be aware of this, but we wanted to clarify: over the next few months Vektor will be relocating out of Arizona to Philadelphia, PA (no big story behind the reason - we're all just needing a change in that direction)."

The cutting-edge thrash metallers Vektor have announced the tracklist and revealed the cover art of their upcoming album Outer Isolation. The album features five new songs and three re-recorded compositions from the band's first album Demolition: "Tetrastructural Minds", "Venus Project" and "Fast Paced Society." The band did a similar thing on their previous album Black Future in 2009 by re-recording two other songs. Also, two new songs, "Dying World" and "Dark Creations, Dead Creators," are now streaming online at this location.

US Thrashers Vektor are in writing mode for a yet untitled album tentatively penciled in for a 2011 March/April release. The band states:

"Our main focus right now is writing for the next album (while two of us finally get school out of the way in December). We're working hard with new material and a lot of it is coming out awesome so far. Once it gets tightened up, tweaked, and finalized, our aim is to get in the studio some time in the winter. Probably early 2011, putting the album out around March or April. Don't hold us to that, it's just an estimate. Might be earlier, might be later.

After that we head to Europe for Keep it True and a few weeks of shows out there (TBD), then probably some VERY extensive touring after that. Once school is out of the way we're going to go pretty all out as far as touring goes, and we hope to take it as far as we can. We do need all the help and support we can get from YOU though.

So since we are sort of in writing/rehearsing mode, don't expect a lot of major updates until November or December. But keep in touch! We can't wait for everyone to hear the new material and to see everyone out on tour again."
