Fjorsvartnir - Call It Quits
After 15 years and two full length albums, Denmark's one-man black folk metal act Fjorsvartnir has decided to call it quits. Full statement from the man behind the project, Andreas ''Fjorgynn'' Villumsen, can be read down under.
Mastermind Andreas ''Fjorgynn'' Villumsen comments: ''Fjorsvartnir is from now on put into the grave. Thanks to everyone for the support this past 10? years! I've had material for a new album for a long time, but it's getting trashed. I have decided to spend my lack of time and energy, to create a new project that suits me better. The music I have made in and for Fjorsvartnir no longer gives me the kick and feeling it did when I started it, and I do not want to make and create music I do not feel 100% for. I will let you know when I have more news about my new project. The spirit and atmosphere from Fjorsvartnir will continue into the new project.''
