Here's the official comment from the band: "We have released Mr. Juha Harju on vocal duties. He sang his parts to forthcoming album (release date TBC) but he won't be seen nor heard with Shade Empire from this day on. Harju wants to thank fans for the past years.
"After the decision was made we started to seek new front man even from the foreign countries. However, the right person could be found from our hometown, Kuopio. As a band we want professionalism, humble and loyal attitude towards Shade Empire and that's what we got. The new singer Henry Hämäläinen is talented young guy who has enough capabilities both musically and personally. This is a natural step in Shade Empire's evergoing progress. The band's sound will definitely take step to whole new level with Henry in front, so let's give him a warm welcome and see you at the gigs! This is all band have to say about the matter and will not comment any further."
The band has also revealed a list of confirmed gigs around Finland:

That's really sad. I can't remember any metal band in history when the vocalist (replacement/leave) actually changed the band in a good way also I can name some bands just got disbanded after all. - Illnath (disbanded after vocalist left) - Norther (disbanded after vocalist left) - Axamenta (disbanded after vocalist left) - Ensiferum (may be someone disagree but with Jari Ensiferum was way better on my opinion than with Petri) - NIghwish (how terrible the band became after Mrs Tarja got fired) - Anorexia Nervosa (no new material at all after vocalist has left the band - in other words disbanded) Not saying that SE gonna end up like that and again it depends how much Juha was the band drive spirit/influencer, may be he was not, but I realy like his vocal on each Shade Empire album. Also I think that decision has to be explained - why he left/fired ?

Ok, I did not see this one coming. Especially after releasing that single and gearing up for the next album release...... Juha really has a stunning voice, but I feel like some nasty dispute went on in the band, the way the news is portrayed.

Shit, really bad news... Good thing is that vocals are already recorded, bad news is that it may be the last album from Shade Empire... Only future can tell. In the meantime I want to hear more from this forthcoming album !
