A Chronology Of Masterpieces

What seems the most important albums for me in chronological order.
I wish I could carry the list year after year to see how my tastes changed and new findings.
I can help but notice that old albums immediately strike me, while in recent times most albums are good but nothing is groundbreaking. We have a tide of releases in the last decades, and standing above the other requires an impossible lot of talent.
Or is it my listen habbits that changed ? I felts I listened to the old albums albums for a lifetime while I'm only surface checking the new ones. Too little time, too little time to truly live...
Also the mixing technology, the sound is too flat nowadays and lack impact and personnality

1.Frank Zappa - Freak Out
2.The Who - Tommy
3.Frank Zappa - Uncle Meat
4.Frank Zappa - Hot Rats
5.King Crimson - In The Court Of The Crimson King

Mightiest = albums I can listen to almost anytime/anywhere - no matter how many times they never wear out - and always give me pleasure, power, euphoria, goosebumps, inspiration and many other nasty things.

Recommendations appreciated.

2.Anaal Nathrakh - Desideratum
3.Battle Beast - Battle Beast
4.Be'lakor - Of Breath And Bone
5.Skeletonwitch - Forever Abomination

One-Hit Albums

A (most probably incomplete) list of albums on which I really enjoy only a single song (in alphabetical order, excluding one-track albums).
They turn out to be albums that I rate a 6 or 7 overall -- with few exceptions.
The songs mentioned though are all-time favourites, which I would rate at 9 or 10.
I only listed albums on which I found exactly one such song.

1.Agalloch - Pale Folklore
2.Amorphis - Far From The Sun
3.Annihilator - Set The World On Fire
4.Asphyx - The Rack
5.Bathory - Blood Fire Death

Judas Priest Albums Ranked From Best To Worst

As You can see on the ratings I'm not the largest Priest fan even if I enjoy most of their records to some extent. There's something with their style that didn't click with me in the way other similar bands did (Iron Maiden, Saxon for example).
I would however never downplay the importence of their legacy in the history of metal. They are truly up there along with Black Sabbath, Scorpions, Deep Purple as the bands that early on shaped heavy metal.

1.Judas Priest - Sad Wings Of Destiny
2.Judas Priest - Painkiller
3.Judas Priest - Nostradamus
4.Judas Priest - Stained Class
5.Judas Priest - Sin After Sin
