Blind Guardian Albums Ranked From Best To Worst Another list of another great band. Blind Guardian wasn't among my favourites in my teens even if I liked plenty of their songs, in later years I however have started to appreciate them much more.
So yeah, here's the list with some top picks. I have not included the orchestra album as I really don't know how to rate it compared to their other albums. Maybe i'll add it in the future.

Helstar Albums Ranked From Best To Worst Great band with four classic records in their backpocket. The reunion stuff is a bit shaky but for the most part enjoyable. All their albums are avaible on Spotify/ Tidal so there's no reason for the uninitiated to not give them a listen!

Manowar Albums Ranked From Best To Worst Manowar, love or hate them but I think every metal fan can agree that they've made some really killer tunes in their days. It was a long time ago I listened to any of their albums so to revisit them was fun but at the same time you notice how inconsistent their albums is and that their image that in the beginning felt tongue in cheek got way out of hand.

Cloven Hoof Albums Ranked Cloven Hoof was part of the NWOBHM movement but they were a bit too late releasing their debut album to have a chance to be part of the big ones. They have however released a string of solid albums and the short period when they had Russ North behind the microphone they were reaching high, sadly they never got a brake and the band has stayed obscure with changing band members constantly. They are about to release a new album this month and what better way to celebrate that than to rank all their albums! (I will add the new one at a later point)

Magnum Albums Ranked From Best To Worst Magnums albums ranked from best to worst. I included the Hard Rain albums as they are pretty much Magnum albums under a different name. This was a difficult list to make as they have so many albums and all are written by one man (except for 7 songs which are co-written) and sung by one man, that makes the albums quite close to each other music wise. There's no huge sudden changes in directions and soundwise many of their albums are pretty close. But here's my list after a lot of listening, also included some favourite tunes of all the albums.

Iron Savior Albums Ranked Iron Savior is in my opinion the power metal version of Motorhead and AC/DC, they deliever pretty much the same formula every album but keeps a high quality all the time to keep it intresting even if there's no major changes to the music. Iron Savior is wide-legged metal without frills that is as awesome as it gets! Here's my ranking of their albums

TEN Albums Ranked. Nice to have Ten featured on this site even if they are not a metal band. Sure they have metal songs and overall they often have a leaning towards metal but anyway. Ten is one of my favourite bands ever since I stumbled upon them. I think Spellbound that was the first record I heard but it was through their somewhat awful best-of album with re-recordings (The Essential Collection 1995-2005) I got my ears opened up to Gary Hughes brilliant songwriting. He is truly the master of storytelling and writing songs that feels dense in quality. This was much thanks to the great band he had in the beginning (Greg Morgan on drums and Vinny Burns on the lead guitar).
The ratings seems to be on the low side but that's because Gary is also the master of including large turkeys on every record (Your in My Heart, What About Me, Till the end of Time and similar stuff that only the skip button saves you from). But anyway if your interested in some quality AOR/Melodic rock then check out this band because they are on the top in the genre. Maybe I'll add the first three Bob Catley solo albums to this list at some point as I and possibly every one else consider them as Ten records.

Riot Albums Ranked Don't need any long introduction to this one. An excellent band that has released some of the best metal tracks through the history and been influencing tons of bands. Here's my take on their discography

Iron Maiden Albums Ranked One of, if not THE, greatest band there ever been. Iron Maiden rocked the world right from the start and released more classic album than pretty much any other band. My introduction to Iron Maiden was hearing A Real Live One and A Real Dead One probably a year before Brave New World was released, I was hooked, I knew from that point that this band was something special and that heavy metal was my kind of music.

Scanner Albums Ranked Six albums and five different singers and probably equally many or even more on all the other instruments. The only solid standing stone is guitarist and song writer Axel Julius. Luckily he's a great song writer so the changes in the lineup makes no difference. Six albums, all worth listening to for any fan of heavy/power/speed metal. Scanner is one of those names that never really got any recognition but still shows up on obscure festival bills 30 years after the debut and that always warms my heart. As of now i'm only hoping for a seventh album, and hopefully they keep their current singer as he has a great voice for this kind of music.
