It disproves the assumption that the choice of which property of an object to measure in any way can have an effect on the outcome of the measurement, proving it is all predetermined
No joke. It's a widely known and tested experiment. Might be room for some reservations about how to interpret the results, but the evidence is clear, there is no room for free will, and choice has no effect on reality
I came across an experiment in a lab at university, bunch of lasers and mirrors on a table used to prove the future is deterministic, there is no free will, choice is an illusion, bound by fate, literally - was belief, is now fact
Khanate returned with a new album after 14 years. A return to the stage has been promised and the label announced re-issues for the first two albums. The stars aligned themselves perfectly so that you, Metalstormer, can ruin your whole weekend with what I think it’s the band’s masterpiece. I’m talking about their sophomore record, Things Viral, which turns 20 years today. This is when the drone super-group deconstructed the foundations of sludge metal from their debut, in order to transport the listener to a far more surreal landscape of horror. Some of these viral things include minimalistic song structures, waves of feedback, ultra-low bass, unpredictable drumming, unnerving electronic effects, and a terrifying vocal performance. Khanate mastered the concept of torture music from the start. No one came close enough to touch them. No one dared to.
How anyone can call this Swans worship is beyond me. Clearly said person is deaf.
Son, you got a lot to learn. Youre influence here despite youre indifferent knowledge and arrogance is beyond me. Read the link below and then apologise to me for calling me deaf, try to show some respect to other users.
10ing this. No other release has captured and released abstract horror so effectively.
You did the right thing. This album remains unique in its delivery, structure, atmosphere, pretty much anything. Disturbing yet eerily cathartic specially by the very ending.

Indeed almost 20 years after its release, there is nothing similar to it except for the other record from khanate.
The video is pretty cringy by today's standards and the whole song is not in it (specially the brutal crescendo at the very end). But I still remember how freaked out I was the first time I saw Alan scream "OOOOUUUUUTTTSSSSSIIIIDEEEEEEEE".
