@BE I don't understand your comparison of Lynyrd Skynyrd, CCR, etc... With DT? Also not sure I want clarifications for fear of you making it even more complicated using "words"
Yeah I wouldn't mind something like that. I love anime but I hate how much the fans often turn outsiders away from it (like my good friend RaduP, who STILL refuses to watch Jojo)
Sounds like this is going to be one of their weaker albums based on the first two singles. A shame as they have had so much time to create something special. Hopefully the rest of the album will have more interesting songwriting, but I'm not hopeful

According to Per Nilsson, this album was already written back in '17, and due to different circumstances it was delayed eternally.
New SS is good, but the CA era was much better.

I enjoy the songs a lot, but the production sounds very compressed and muffled to me, especially in comparison with the stellar work on Phase I. Not sure what happened there. I hope I can get used to it and enjoy the album for what it is.
With repeated listens this has become my second favorite album by them, behind Pitch Black Progress. It's also one of their heaviest. I don't have any problem with the production. 10/10. I just wish they would get a US merch store. 50 Euros shipping to the United States for just a t shirt is freaking outrageous.

Ditto. Playing it from start to finish over the last week has moved it to a 10 to me. It's just so filled with love, I just cannot believe it.
Altergeist and Digiphrenia Dawn has possibly my favorite solos in their entire discography.
After many listens, is not as bad as first listenings. Perhaps at same level than Dark Matter Dimensions or The Unseen Empire. But is far from the great The Singularity. So now i will wait for the Mercenary album...
