Such the opposite of todays oversaturated metal, a million releases which tries in every way to entertaining its costumer. Not much riffs going on here, but as a listener I try to make the most of whats given here and thats probably what makes it so enjoyable. Great lyrics (exploring very dark themes) as well on this truly unique masterpiece.

Amazing that they can just come back nearly a decade and a half after the fact and still make the sound so top notch. I'd say that's down to all the other work with drone and extreme doom - type stuff SOMA and Alan Dubin had been doing in the meantime. The talented shall always return to their rightful thrones!
