I live on a very multicultural street, mostly dominated by Romanian, Slovakian and Polish people, all are fine and I get on with them. It's only a minority that are the problem and they tend to be young English

Ladies and gentlemen Wrest has returned and is stronger than ever. Terrific album!
In my opinion it's an album plagued with messy songwriting and irritating "BLLLEEEEGGGHHH" vocals throughout. Definitely not a patch on "Massive Conspiracy..." Saying that I do think Contrary Pulse is an exceptional song and the songs that follow after it are far better than the three that precede it.
Especially song "Vulgar Asceticism" which is a poor copy of Blut Aus Nord...
You didn't happen to check my Last.fm just then did you? Now you mention it it does have a BaN quality to it. Nothing wrong with a few BaN copies here and there, more bands should take note of their style.

Quite a dissapointment indeed. There are still some very good moments but most of the album goes from meh to "just good". I expected much more from Wrest.
Now, excuse me. I have to listen to Lurker Of Chalice now.

I actually thought this was a great follow-up to Massive Conspiracy. Not necessarily better, but not a bad album by any means. Great atmosphere, and I love Wrest's shrieks.
