Those not particularly accustomed to the drone genre may be surprised to discover the incredible amount of variation lurking within it. As a fundamentally structure-less genre, its very nature leaves the door for invention wide open, in turn leading to many different interpretations of the drone sound. This year, French newcomers Autokrator are ready to put their own spin on this principle, with some interesting, though perhaps unexpected influences.
Just started listening to this. It's quite fun so far. Remindeth me of the militant vibe of NKVD
I'm pretty sure that you had listened to this before when I posted it in 2015 new recommendation page, underlying the fact that it is done by the guy behind N.K.V.D

Oh it was the same? I even thought "this cover reminds me of that one that mz posted on that band with the guy behind NKVD" but it didn't occurr me it was the same =P
I remember finding it quite bland back then. Proof that my mood affects my view of music

It s because it has only be released on digital form, and self promoted
Tape and vinyl version will come.
And cd version too
And after some reviews, it will get more attention

Hey. And congs on your album. The sort of combination of death metal and drones is something I had not heard before, and I'm thankful for it. I'm not in the business of music and music reviewing but I was wondering why the album has not been reviewed yet.
Anyways, good luck with the band and hope you get the attention you deserve.
Haha, I doubt it. While it's an interesting release, I do not feel compelled to write 600 words about it. For now. Yet it's begging for more listens. We'll see.
Gotta jump on the bandwagon and see what the fuss is about.
EDIT: Huh, not bad actually. Takes a while getting used to. Unique, soulless and crushing. Kinda like the musical equivalent of Dante's Inferno, with each tracks serving as the circles.
Well this is an interesting album if I ever heard one. It's basically drone... but with deep, guttural growls and blast beats
Definitely not something you hear every day.
---- I am the Magician and the Exorcist. I am the axle of the wheel, and the cube in the circle. “Come unto me” is a foolish word: for it is I that go.
Am I missing something here? Like entire ranges of frequencies in my hearing? I tried about 10 minutes of it and aside from the ambient bit all I could hear was a bassier version of this.
[EDIT] Trying again with headphones. Sounds a bit better, but now it just sounds like a rubbish version of Ævangelist (or about as good as Ævangelist sounds nowadays). I'll pass on this.
I thought so, but I've had tinnitus recently (has mostly gone now I think) so have been worried about my hearing so put it down to that and my slightly overly bassy speakers. Surprised at the way this one has been received to be quite honest.

Who's the drummer on this album? Septimiu Hărşan, or someone else?
