I don't want to sound like a whiney b**ch, but I'm gonna. While I do understand the effect of the COVID situation and their necessity to promote their latest album, I have no idea why this is necessary. Lacuna Coil has a discography that spans over 2 decades (and for the sake of whinnies such as myself, who fell for In A Reverie, Cold Heritage and Comalies), they could easily pull of a show, including songs from all of their albums. I mean Black Anima is for me by far their worst work to date, so I have no interest in this one. And it's a pity, because I believe they could make a mean live recording in the vein of 25 years of The Gathering.

I'm joking. Matter of fact i think they would make far more money if they did a 2 hours show going through their whole discography. This just sounds lazy af.

Honestly, it's true. I remember The Gathering sold out the 25 years anniversary show in hours and had to make the additional show on the same day.

Putting the financial aspect to side, I don't think the live performances sound much different to the ones on the album, whilst they could shape and shift some older songs and bring something different to the table.
