The members of Abysmal Dawn are currently ensconced at an undisclosed Los Angeles location, where they're invoking the elder gods to power new material for their as-yet-untitled fifth full-length and follow-up to 2014's Obsolescence.

Iron Maiden - To Release New Live Album, Share Clip

Warner Music will release Iron Maiden's The Book Of Souls: Live Chapter on November 17th worldwide (through BMG in the USA). This live recording comprises 15 songs captured during "The Book Of Souls World Tour", which covered 39 countries across six continents during 2016 and 2017, and was seen by over two million fans. There will also be a free live streaming premiere of the concert film. For now, you can watch the legendary band perform "Speed Of Light" in Cape Town, South Africa.

Ufomammut - Stream New Album

Ufomammut's follow up to 2015's well-received Ecate is to be released on the 22nd of September through Neurot Recordings, from where it can also be pre-ordered as LP, CD or digital download. According to the band, the title of the new album, 8, was inspired by the infinity symbol. It is also their 8th studio album if you count 2012's pair of Oro albums as a single piece of work.

The Ocean - Premiere New Song, Working On New Album

It's been a while since The Ocean released new music. Luckily for fans, the German metallers are now premiering a new instrumental track called "Turritopsis Dohrnii". This is The Ocean's first new track released, since their 2015 Transcendental split EP with Japan's post rock legends Mono. The instrumental track was recorded as part of the Pelagial recording session, and is named after a tiny jellyfish species that lives in the Mediterranean, the only immortal species on earth.
