The Faroese folk metal outfit Týr just got the all clear to start recording their eighth full-length installment. You'll do well to remember that their last album, Valkyrja, was released only a couple of years ago, in 2013. Týr's guitarist and vocalist Heri Joensen has shared the news on his personal Facebook page.
Finnish occult rockers Jess And The Ancient Ones have presented their new video for the single "In Levitating Secret Dreams". The band is about to release their new album Second Psychedelic Coming: The Aquarius Tapes on December 4th, 2015 via Svart Records. The clip was animated by Costin Chioreanu. With The Dead is a new U.K.-based band featuring members of Cathedral and Electric Wizard, guitarist/bassist Tim Bagshaw and drummer Mark Greening, and vocalist Lee Dorrian. They will release their six-track, self-titled debut on October 16th via Rise Above Records. As of now, you don't have to wait to hear some of it at least. The new mammoth song "Living With The Dead" is now online and available for consumption below.
Jarno Ruuskanen, the leader of the Finnish group Ikuinen Kaamos, has shared some news on the band's official Facebook page regarding their upcoming album. In a response to a fan's question, he confirmed the recordings are currently ongoing: "Drums are ready and I've just started to record guitars. Still a lot of work to do." The band went on a brief hiatus in 2011, and it seems they have spent their time well, writing new material.
Ixion have revealed a 3 minutes medley of their upcoming album Enfant de la Nuit. Former W.A.S.P. guitarist Chris Holmes formed his solo band Chris Holmes in 2012 and released the album Nothing To Lose that same year. In 2015 he changed the name of the band to Mean Man and relocated from Los Angeles to France. Three French guys joined in ranks with Pascal Bei as bassist, David Amore as drummer and Thomas "Tom" Cesario as second guitarist. The band's latest album Shitting Bricks was out on the 2nd of May 2015. You can see a new video from the album on the YouTube player below.
Michael Schenker's Temple Of Rock will be filming the Madrid show on 19th November 2015 at Joy Eslava for a live DVD/Blu-ray to be released in early 2016. There will be some filming for the DVD/Blu-ray at the Mannheim, Alte Seilerei, show on the 22nd of October 2015 as well, in Germany. Stay tuned for more details on that.

The band now shares a new lyric video for the song "Queen Of Hearts", which can be seen down below. It comes from band's upcoming studio album, Battering Ram, out on October 16th through UDR Music.
Spiders' new EP Why Don't You is set to be released on October 16th via Reaktor Recordings/Spinefarm Records. It will be available digitally and as a 10-inch vinyl. Why Don't You was produced by Niels Nielsen and mastered by Thomas Eberger at Stockholm Mastering. The release contains two brand new songs and one cover. Cover artwork was done by Markus Eichelmann.
It has been almost a decade since Beyond Twilight's last album, but the band's mastermind Finn Zierler has been busy. His side-project, called simply Zierler, is finally releasing the long-awaited debut album. ESC will be out on October 16th via Vanity Music Group. Debemur Morti Productions has recently announced the signing of the Polish-based black metal horde Outre. Formed in 2012, the band began working on their sophomore full-length album, which is now tentatively scheduled for a late 2016 release. Before that, in the coming weeks, the outfit will release a split album with Barshasketh via Third Eye Temple/Godz ov War/Blut & Eisen.
After three months of silence, Redemption finally revealed some news concerning their new record, announced in July. The band's sixth studio album will be titled The Art Of Loss and will be released worldwide in early 2016 via Metal Blade Records. It will be one of Redemption's longest albums, clocking in at over 70 minutes.
Paradise Lost have a new live album/concert film on the way. Symphony For The Lost was recorded at the Ancient Roman Theatre of Philippopolis in Plovdiv, Bulgaria and is set for release on 20th November via Century Media Records!
