I bet a lot of us are.

I'm new to this band but what a find. This lass has the chops big time - what a fucking voice. I'm gonna have to delve deep into their discography.

This is just full of surprises. Fun and engaging throughout.

Good band, I'm definitely gonna check this out.

It's only two more albums but they are both going to blow your mind. For doom metal, Messa is the best new band out there, and the second best is far behind.

I'm looking forward to the Friends Of Hell album - featuring Albert Witchfinder - out next Friday, but it'll take something special to beat this.

Not my favorite type of doom but the album's really good and the singer's got a beautiful voice. Deserves a few more listens.

I don't know why I keep forgetting about this band. Their first two albums were fucking fantastic, and this one is even fantastic-er, yet they always seem to fly below my radar.

Solid album, I'm impressed.

Great voice, no doubt about it. The album starts off really strong with the first two tracks, but after that it takes a massive dive into slow ballad after slow ballad.

It's nice background music, but not really my type of doom. Too few world-crushing riffs

This is a quite unique album, impressive songwriting and performance, I got no complaints.
If you want crushing doom, go listen to Warning's Watching from a Distance, But then again, don't, it might break you.

Finally managed to listen to this album in full and it's truly great, the vocals are outstanding, some of the best female vocals in metal right now I would say, and the music in general is brilliant, each track is well structured and well thought of.

Every time I listen to this little mofo I hear something different - there's jazz rock, fusion, prog, Middle Eastern psych, blues rock, folk rock, and do I also detect a smidgen of 80's alt rock? And, I also love the way they fuck about with the distortion levels - some tracks are kind of clean, but others, like 'Pilgrim' are fuzzy as fuck. Quite possibly the most expansive piece of music I've heard this year. In short, few albums deserve to be as long as this beast and it's a fucking smasher.

We're november now. We have seen almost a full year of new metal albums released. I can now say this is my album of the year (wel, almost, still a good month of new releases to go).

Hard to say why I love this album so much ... it has some "magical" element to it. It has something musically transcendent. It doesn't just break the mold, it goes above and beyond, into another sphere. For me at least

This is one of those rare albums I consider to be highly mood-specific. Depending on where I'm at, it could be a background shuffle 7 or an emotional journey 9. Songs like "Dark Horse" and "Pilgrim" break that mold for me with their more intense pacing, which is really impressive considering how much space the musicians leave for the vocalist to emote alongside them. Excellent chemistry and performance overall. Would love to see them deliver this package live.

While they cut back on the drone thankfully they didn't cut back on the jazzy guitars. Amazing album.
