I'm not impressed by this, but neither I think it sucks. Well, something that they had on their earlier albums is missing here-

Re-listening this a few times and it's kind of an interesting album already because it's not hardcore or crossover -- 4th song excluded -- like would be expected from the band. I have no clue where the band was trying to go musically, but the most I can hear here is heavy metal and some speed as well. I must point out that the songs aren't super good; I can listen to them now but they definitely aren't best Cro-Mags songs; I think the band was struggling to write these longer songs and maintain a high level of success at it. And while I think JJ has done some good vocals on earlier albums, he seems to have hard time managing this type of singing.

I kind of like the album anyway. It's not anything remarkable, but I can't say I'm highly disappointed with it. Say Goodbye To Mother Earth, Death In The Womb, Reflections and NDE are my favs here.
