This album is nothing new or special, but it has it's enjoyable moments. It has some pretty cool hooks, and catchy riffs and choruses, it is a wee bit on the generic side, especially in terms of songwriting and lyrics, and the vocals can get annoying as hell, especially the screaming on certain songs, where he sounds like he banged his knee on the corner of a table.

I like some of the song references, the opening track "Middle Earth" being a reference to Lord Of The Rings, "Soul Of Cinder" a reference to Dark Souls, and "Stormbringer" a reference to the Eldric Saga, but as for the songs, nothing particularly memorable, with maybe the exception of the last song "Black Swordsman", which was a pretty good song.
