To me this is a very generic sounding NWOTHM album, it's nothing special compared with other heavy metal releases this year. But tbf this still has some pretty cool riffs with solid hooks, shame they are kept down by the guitar tone though.

The songwriting is not great either, nothing really stands out about it, but the worst thing about this album for me is the vocals, it sounds like his trying to emulate King Diamonds vocal style, unfortunately KD is on an entirely different level, so it doesn't work well for me.
