20:08 - ANGEL REAPER Winter as US doom Winter?...if so they are good...
19:47 - Marcel Hubregtse Isole does have growls on the last album ;-) Check Winter, Disembowelment, Decomposed, Castle, etc all have growls and are doom :-)
19:34 - Draven Edge Megadeth "Super Collider-radio version" ...sarcastically speaking I guess the "non radio" version must be too brutal for the ears of the commoners
19:12 - ANGEL REAPER "Metalheads dont die! They just jam in the great gig in the sky!" :D
18:53 - Carrion Misery Same for me, but it is the reverse. I dreaded power metal until I started to sing along. The pure skill/talent involved is very inspiring.
18:49 - Apothecary A good 4-5 years ago I used to hate extreme vocals in metal, til I tried them out myself and realized how much effort and talent really goes into them. Loved extreme metal ever since :)
18:41 - Carrion Misery It's funny how we can point this stuff out, but I know so many people could care less lol. That's why I love metal so much since there's so much to converse about.

Pretty sad that one of the greatest power metal albums of all time only has a little more than 50 votes on this site..
The latest album 'Score To A New Beginning' has twice as many.. probably because of the 2009 awards or something.
'Of Wars' is a masterpiece.
Flawless. Power Metal's best singer is Elisa Martín and she's female!
I found this album through Dark Moor's two just as amazing albums featuring Elisa. Outstanding.
This album is an overlooked gem of power metal. Symphonic, fast, epic songs, which are quite similar, but who cares if they are equally good? There are two nice ballads, 'The Storyteller' and 'Rebirth' and an instrumental song too (The Army Of The White Mountains' ). Even the bonus song, 'Guardian Stones' is great.
Elisa is one of my favourite female singers, she has a very unique voice and singing style. A lot of people mistake her for a guy first. Her pronunciation is not the best (it was a problem in Dark Moor too), but the power and passion in her voice makes up for it. The male chorus complements her well.
Recommended for fans of Dark Moor and Rhapsody of Fire.
