Shiny underground jewel! Viogression plays rather cool and sinister sounding old school DM on this record. My only con is that it has a bit too much fillers be it 30 seconds of silence or some creepy instrumental part with choirs. I guess it all adds up to the mood and ambient of the record but it is not a long record anyway (41min) so i think they overdone with the song fillers a bit. I tend to like short and straight to the point records. Expound and Exhort is a pleasant surprise. I bought it on sale even though i never heard of Viogression before let alone gave it a listen. While it has its tiny flaws I would definitely recommend it for all extreme metal maniacs out there!
