It's not a bad album, it does have some decent riffs, and a good second wave sound to it, and the songs do have the ideal mid-tempo song structures too. The vocals are nothing to shout about, yes they are sinister and harsh, but they sound very standard. The songwriting is nothing original or incredibly exciting either, but it's still decent all round black metal imo.

The song "I kuldens Vold" is the highlight for me.
