Mk II reunites after nine years of separation to release one of the finest albums in the band's history, Perfect Strangers. It's certainly one of the greatest comeback albums in rock history, making it a one of the top albums in rock. Nowadays the band still plays most of the tracks in this album, most of the fans truly love this classic of hard-rock with shades of heavy metal.

Excellent comeback album from a band that had been inactive for virtually nine years. Although Gillain's vocals do come across as slightly weaker than they were in the 70s, he still puts good effort in. Lord's keyboard work is as eccentric as ever and Blackmore uses his guitar solos to really power each and every song through to the end. The title track is naturally the most famous song on the album and definitely one of the band's most memorably song (given that it's been covered by so many bands since), but it would be cruel to forget the awesomeness of 'Knocking at your back door' and 'A gypsy's kiss'.

Very good comeback album with the Mk II line-up. "Knocking at Your Back Door" is an excellent track and the title track sounds like Deep Purple's "Kashmir", with Gillan even sounding a bit like Robert Plant in some parts of the song.
