Metalcore in the new millennium has an inextricable history with melodic death metal; however, as the decades have passed, new waves of metalcore have arguably de-emphasized this lineage in favor of more technical, extreme or gnarly styles. Alma Alizadeh knows how to scream! Fantastic vocalist. One of my favorite albums of the year. A fresh mix of metalcore and melodeath, highly recommend.

Nothing ground breaking but damn this record is so good at what it does. It is punchy, groovy, melodic and quite fun overall. I wish we had more Metalcore like that. In a year I found quite average in Melodeath, this would probably also take my vote in that category if it was selected there for the Awards actually. Also I saw them live right after the release of that album last year and they are great on stage. The singer is super kind and positive, great energy.

The song "Trojans" was really great, vocals and melodies were captivating, but the rest of the album did not stand out for me...
