Now, here's a new, exciting prospect Drifting your way. Cursebinder may indeed sound like a marvelous band name, but I'll have you know that this is a post-black debut as equally impressive as the band name itself.

The first two singles sound quite promising, thanks to Anghellic67 for the suggestion!

Post black with a pinch of doom is always welcome and they have Dormant Ordeal's Maciej Proficz on vocals, so I'm really looking forward to hearing the rest of it.

I got interested after hearing the first single Shred By Shred which I think is a bit different than any other song on the album. Other songs are more doom or atmospheric. No Dreams and Every Tree A Sanctuary are interesting and a bit enigmatic. Good album all around and got better towards the end. Might give it more spins.

The whole album is available for listening on the Black Metal Promotion channel on YouTube. It came as a suggestion on my feed today and I listened to it three times in a row. It's that good.

A truly mesmerizing album. Great use of keyboards and the overall atmosphere is apocalyptic and engulfing. They managed to combine post-metal elements with the traditional hostile sound of Polish BM (the harsher moments definitely reminded me of Mgła a little bit), which I think makes this band stand out.

This album is astonishingly good, it has a terrific sound, great production, and a great atmosphere, and the rhythmic drumming is brilliant, and reminds me of Mgła's Darkside. This is definitely one of the most intriguing albums this year so far.

Way more Behemoth-y than the EP, the death metal elements almost dominate black metal in this one. It reminds me of Ulsect's debut album with that kind of post-death aesthetics. So many identifiable influences, from polish and icelandic black metal to Gojira and Ulcerate-esque death yet combined into one coherent whole. Anyway, fantastic album ! Go listen to the EP if you like it, it's equally brilliant.

This does not do really much for me, even if I can hear it´s qualities. To me whenever post-elements are at play they have to be incorporated in a very specific way to not water down the whole thing. And with this record it´s just that: Sounds like Mgła with tacked on post-rock stuff. Kind of boring

I found this to be more death metal oriented than black metal. But what an album. There was this song which had female choirs in the end that reminded me of Vektor's Charging the void, somewhat.
