I think it's more of a death doom album compared to the debut and I'm not too happy with the change. Too slow and boring at times for my taste. Still some pretty interesting instrumental parts here and there which make the atmosphere more oppressive.

Yeah this is a big jump from the debut, more of a blackened/death doom sound on some songs at least. It feels less and less unique as it progresses, but it's still a rather good album - Abyssal Nightmare is nice and sinister
