Album started off interesting. Really enjoyed the new rendition of Paper Sun. Animal was fine, not as good as the original but still interesting and a good listen. Pour Some Sugar On Me is where this album went from a possible 8 straight to a 4. Good grief. I respect the creativity put into it, and the backing symphony and music was good, but what they did to that song just does NOT go with the lyrics of it. It was a strange mix of good instrumentation and horrible cringe.

The rest of the song mixes with the added symphony and almost complete overhaul of the songs, were generally fine, but none were as good as the originals in my opinion. If you're a Def Leppard fan, and also like symphonic music, yeah you will probably find some things to enjoy here, although you may be upset at how much they changed.

Hate to say it but Metallica did it significantly better on S&M 1 and 2.

All that being said, I did really enjoy Turn to Dust, Paper Sun, Love Bites, and Too Late For Love. Ultimately, I'm landing on a 6.
