Worth the waiting for 5 years this album is excellent

Nah, this is not working for me this time, Hoest doesn't seem to create a shadow of what he used to, this is probably his worst release to date IMHO. The production doesn't help here, it seems painfully thin, and I don't find the riffs engaging, I'm not keen on the length of the tracks either, they're too tedious and drawn out for my liking, I much prefer his older stuff, the first three releases in particular. Hopefully it will grow on me though

Summed it up quite nicely. Not sure how this has such a high rating. One of the least enjoyable BM releases of 2023 imo.

I like the melodies. To be fair listening to taake for the first time, maybe will give them some more listening to in the future.
