Controversy aside, this is some quality black metal right here, dare I even say one of their strongest releases, it's certainly much better than I expected it to be anyway. "Shovel Beats Sceptre" is just fantastic, so sinister and vile

I found this one really inconsistent. I loved tracks 2, 4, and 7, another two tracks were quite good, and the rest boring.

This is the black metal I have been wanting to hear for long time. Sounds so good to me

Holy crap, this is so good. I rarely enjoy black metal nowadays, but Marduk always manages to really slay it. I friggin' love it. And shocked that I do. This, Serpent Sermon and Rom 5:12 is some of the best black metal ever released imo.

Shit, it's ROM-good? Then I gotta check it out aas ROM is one of my fav swedish bm albums of all time (probably due Mortuus adding some Funeral Mist on their phormula).

Nice evil sounding black metal with amazing lyrics which break the fourth wall. I have been mostly listening to black metal with a melodic tinge in it so this was a nice change in taste.
